ABOUT

Me examining a red edge captured by IMPS for the first time

"My literal blood is in this project!"

When my mom was pregnant with me, she had a dream she touts as prophetic; In the dream, I, a toddler, floated by in a space suit and told her the day I'd be born--contrary to my given due date.  Ever since then, she's sworn up-and-down that I'd end up working in astronomy.  Now, as a fifth-year physics major and art minor at the University of Florida, I can say she pretty much hit the mark!

As stated above, I am an undergraduate physics and art student at the University of Florida with a passion for science, museums, art, and life in general.

In Fall 2022, I studied abroad at Florence University of the Arts in Florence, Italy, where I studied art, fashion, and Italian.

In my free time, you can find me hula hooping, painting, drawing, sewing, scuba diving, or playing scrabble.

Currently, I am pursuing a future in astrogeology and astrobiology research.  I’m interested in further studying exoplanet compositions, their differences, and their respective capacities to evolve life.  I’m also interested in designing museum exhibits to help the world fall just as in love with science (and, by association, the world itself) as I am.
